Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Working Environment: Maintenance is a fast-paced, physically-demanding environment that requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling and crawling.

Requirements:

Maintenance Technician

  • Maintain both shop and building equipment by following diagrams, prints, operations manuals and manufacturer’s instructions
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and power tools
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Locate sources of problems by observing both machine and mechanical devices in operation and listening for problems that may occur
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance needed and the completion dates/times associated with the project
  • Provide machine and mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests from co-workers
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all company procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Order, repair and/or replace defective parts in machines or mechanical devices, using both hand and power tools
  • Troubleshoot equipment and repair when necessary
  • Reports damage, defects and safety related issues to Shop Supervision immediately
  • Participate in meetings, training(s) and seminars to advance skills and work efficiently
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers and management
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
  • Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
  • Maintain HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, etc.)
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, snow removal, etc.)
  • Maintain service logs for the overall facility, including logs for production equipment
  • May initiate requisitions for machines, parts, supplies and tooling

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • Proficient use of meters and diagnostic tools
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, woodworking production equipment and general building maintenance
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
  • High school diploma or equivalent with not less than 3 years of relevant maintenance experience

Lead Maintenance Technician

  • All Requirements/Qualifications of Maintenance Technician listed above AND:
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
  • Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed
  • Work with IT or outside vendors to troubleshoot equipment computer and/or connectivity issues
  • Schedule and delegate work as needed
  • Review completed work for quality and compliance with requirements
  • Provide and/or coordinate training for other Maintenance personnel
  • Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Facilities Maintenance Technician or Industrial Maintenance Technician certification required
  • Proficient use of meters and diagnostic tools

  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime

Summary of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for proper shipment of fixtures and receiving of products for our Minnetonka facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:

  • Adheres to Goebel’s Core Values and all safety and quality requirements
  • Organize and stage multiple jobs on the loading dock for future shipments
  • Comfortably operate and adjust the following equipment: lift trucks, pallet jacks, cargo bars, straps, dock plate, and Johnson bar
  • Complete final inspection of fixtures to ensure it meets company’s quality standards
  • Verify fixtures are marked with required information
  • Follow company’s loading processes
  • Verify form, fit and function of items being shipped
  • Identify and document outbound shipment
  • Receiving of inbound shipments
  • Manage and update shipping schedule and related documents
  • Attend meeting and report status of shipments
  • Assist co-workers by being willing to answer questions and demonstrate procedures
  • Complete forms for shipping area, including: ship tickets, ECR, Waybills etc.

Required

  • Knowledge on how to properly load fixtures, glass, tools and misc. into trailers
  • Possess good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to direct labor when assigned additional help
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Certified forklift operation
  • Basic knowledge of wood species
  • Ability to accurately calculate cubic footage for a trailer and load capacity

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures.
    • Determine and develop CNC tool path for each component part

Duties & Responsibilities

Summary: The Product Engineering role is responsible for the Form, Fit, and Function of all the products that they create, along with the creation of approval and shop drawings through the use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze architectural specifications and details to develop drawings for client submittal
  • Create accurate approval drawings and details by using a value engineering approach
  • Evaluate and specify materials, and produce drawings that ensure the proper form, fit and function for production and installation
  • Anticipate, recommend, and respond to changes where needed to ensure products can be delivered and installed per plan
  • Develop purchased part commodity drawings for unique manufactured items
  • Maintain and update all drawings with changes from ‘start to finish’ on assigned projects
  • Use ERP software to build and maintain an accurate Bill Of Materials used by Drafting, Purchasing and Manufacturing
  • Monitor and expedite information to establish and maintain project schedule within budget
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and urgency
  • Collaborate with other Engineers to meet established standards
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical degree in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Manufacturing, or Engineering
  • Three years of engineering in the areas of design, manufacturing, cabinetry, or millwork, and /or five years of commercial manufacturing shop floor experience in the areas of furniture, cabinetry, or millwork
  • Proficient computer skills in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Previous experience working with an ERP software is a plus (Global Shop preferred)
  • Exceptional knowledge of shop drawings, design drawings, architect drawings, and bill of material structure
  • Strong working material knowledge with wood, metal, glass, and lighting electrical
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; possess self-discipline, and have the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create project budgets and assemble complete proposal packages by determining contract type and scope of the project
  • Identify and calculate costs for manufacturing, labor, delivery, installation, and tax
  • Establish the manufacturing shop order with budget materials, dollars, and labor hours
  • Review proposals with the President, Finance & Estimating Manager
  • Conduct project hand off meetings with the Project Team, when a contract is awarded
  • Collaborate with the Project Executive and/or Project Manager(s) to understand the scope of work and pricing structure of each project
  • Review all client returned submittal drawings as requested by the Project Executive to ensure that they support the established budgets. Report all inconsistencies and follow up on resolutions
  • Analyze all project budgets, including costs by fixture, to ensure that projects are engineered, manufactured and installed profitably. Adjust budgets as necessary to develop future profitability
  • Develop change order budgets and assembling complete proposal packages
  • Prepare and submit documentation for PR’s, ASI’s, CCP’s and PO’s and Change Orders
  • Record all budget data for submitted PR’s, ASI’s, CCP’s and PO’s and Change Orders
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with inside and outside contacts
  • Travel to job sites as deemed necessary
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Estimating Manager or President

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience in estimating, manufacturing and/or installation
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of store fixtures and/or architectural millwork
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and ERP/MRP programs
  • Ability to read and understand bid documents, specifications, spreadsheets, shop drawings and blueprints
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing and installation processes
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision; possess self-discipline with the ability to effectively prioritize
