Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- • Analyze architectural specifications and details to develop drawings for submittal and approval
• Create accurate drawings and detailed sections by using a value engineering approach
• Anticipate, recommend and respond to changes where needed to ensure products can be delivered and installed per plan
• Maintain and update drawings and/or changes from ‘start to finish’ on assigned projects
• Evaluate form, fit and function of the shop drawings
• Develop purchased part commodity drawings for unique manufactured items
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and urgency
• Collaborate with other detailers to meet established standards
• Effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- • Two year technical degree in AutoCad, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
• Three years of engineering background in the area of design and manufacturing and /or three years of shop floor experience.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CAD.
• Exceptional knowledge of shop drawings, design drawings, architect drawings, bill of material structure, routing structure, work center methodology and standard machining methods.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision; possess self-discipline with the ability to effectively prioritize
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Possess good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Individual must be a motivated team player that can add value to a team environment.
